EEEK!! Leggings GONE Wrong!!
Well I am making a second pair of leggings for a friend in this nice charcoal grey color. The first pair I made were perfecto!
These....not so hot.
I used the same pattern I made for my super stretchy black leggings and it did not work out too well. Because now I realize that although it feels the same as my black leggings (95%Rayon 5% Lycra), the fabric is totally different and made of different fibers. (65% poly 35% Rayon)
The Poly in the fabric keeps it from being as super stretchy as I thought it would be. Even though it had a 40% stretch factor when I measured it, the Poly still made it act much different. Alrighty, so off I go to make some pattern adjustments and try this again. I think I will stay away from the Poly blends next fabric purchase. Stick with the Rayon, and Cotton stretch.
